Summary

The function of grid-tie controller is transfer the three phases AC to DC generated from wind turbine, then provides electricity for DC equipments.

This type of controller is easy to operate, it can dump load automatically when the wind speed is out of control and over voltage. If the DC Voltage is still higher than required voltage after dump load 30%, controller will stop wind turbine automatically. The wind turbine will begin to work after brake time of 12-20minutes. Besides, this type of controller also has the advantage of deleting the delay brake time if you want to make the wind turbine work immediately after brake, manual brake, the indication of wind power, unload, over voltage stop, etc. And this system is very safe and stable, and has high efficiency and long lifetime. 

 Operation

This controller should be operated by professional according to the following steps:

1. Firstly, all switches should be OFF, and the fuse is disconnected. It should be assemble the wire when the wind generator is brake and grid net is cut.

2. Connected the dump load equipment with controller a, b, c, separately, then connected the wind generator with controller A, B, C, separately. Connected the grid-tie inverter with the controller output DC480V “+”,  “—”. Connected the grid net AC230V with controller grid net AC “L”, “N”.

3. Connected the earthing ware with the controller earthing ware. Connected the dump load equipment earthing ware with grounding wire. And this connect should be firm.

4. After all connection, it should be check them carefully. And then start to open according to the following steps:

A.    Connected the fuse, and the connection is ok.

B.     Set the grid-tie switch AC  “ON”

       C.  Set the brake switch of wind generator “ON”

Attention

1.      The voltage of controller is grid net 230V. During the operation, if the grid net is stop, the controller will also stop, and the wind turbine will brake.

2.      During the operation, if the output voltage is higher than DC480V, the wind turbine will brake. Please check the reason of over voltage. During the checking, please set wind turbine brake by manual switch. After check everything is ok, run the wind turbine.

3.      The dump load equipment will be hot when works, please make sure the surrounding is ventilate and hard to touch. In addition, it’s forbid that put something on the surface of it. And it’s also forbid to use if the surrounding is easy to fire or explode. Be careful to the spark.

4.      If you want to connect or dismantle the inverter, or tidy the branch voltage output wire, you should set the fuse “disconnected” or take the DC fuse out. It will protect the people from the electricity generated by capacitance.

5.      It’s better to operate by professional. And you should connect with the grounding wire to prevent connecting electricity.
